Waterline Break Floods Homes in Washoe County

A waterline break flooded homes in Lemmon Valley, in Washoe County, Nevada, on Thursday, October 31, the local fire and rescue services said.

Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue said that 24 lots were impacted by floodwaters and that they were assisting elderly residents and helping pumping out water from the area.

Residents affected were asked to leave the area, but the evacuation orders were lifted later in the day, according to news reports.
