Highridge Water Authority completes waterline extension project | News | indianagazette.com

Oct 23, 2024

Forty-seven residents in Burrell Township along Route 217 North will now have public water and fire protection, the Highridge Water Authority recently announced. The recently completed 13,000-foot waterline extension project is the result of concerted efforts by area residents experiencing water quality issues and the township supervisors.

The township designated $400,000 in federal COVID relief funds and Highridge received an $850,000 grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority through the efforts of State Sen. Joe Pittman. Homeowners on Pleasant Valley Road, Lear Road, Olive Street and Daisy Street have begun connecting into the new water system.
